Here is one man's predictions and odds on what is going to happen at the Ames Straw Poll this Saturday. I have really absolutely no expert knowledge on the Iowa political process, but when has that stopped anybody.

Romney, Brownback, Huckabee, and Hunter.
It's easy to predict. The IA GOP has a map of the Hilton Coliseum. You just have to look at tent placement to determine the vote.
Romney has the prime tent location, followed by Brownback, then Huckabee and Hunter and Tancredo will be neck and neck who are next to each other.
McCain and Guiliani will place last and next to last. They may not even be on the ballot.
McCain and Guiliani get to be on the ballot. The Iowa GOP gets to make the determination, same as Fred gets to be on the ballot.
As far as the tents go, my understanding is that tent location space gets auctioned off, and Romney (surprise!) outbid everybody for it.
If Romney doesn't win, his campaign is through.
