Finally....

.....at least somebody is an honest broker when acknowledging the fact that new Board of Ed appointee and unregistered Democratic lobbyist Teresa Milio Birge is in fact involved in lobbying work. It's just a shame that it took Ms. Birge's bio on the AACPS website in order for that nugget to be revealed:

Until recently, Ms. Birge's career has focused mainly on policy and legislative work. Among the positions she has held are legislative analyst for the Maryland Department of Legislative Services and director of governmental relations for the Maryland Municipal League.

It's a shame that the local media could not be so forthcoming with this fact. But it's more shameful that nobody has asked Governor O'Malley why unregistered Democratic lobbyist Birge was appointed to represent District 32 over a more qualified candidate.
