AL West: Los Angeles, Seattle, Texas, Oakland

NL East: New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Florida, Washington
NL Central: Milwaukee, Chicago, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Houston, Pittsburgh
NL West: Colorado, Arizona, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco

AL Champion: Detroit
NL Champion: New York

World Champions: New York Mets

Wow, another Boston/NY 1-2 finish with both in the playoffs.

Is it even worth getting interested in the upcoming season knowing the O's are only a longshot to be mediocre?

I strongly disagree. It is going to be Baltimore versus Washington in world series. Jim Palmer will come out of retirement and anchor a very strong bullpen. Sam horn will come back and dominate Al pitching.
