I hope this doesn't knock MD down to a 7th seed. Either way, a chance at a 3 or 4 look bleak now.
At worst they wind up a # 5. I'm more irritated at the fact that had they ran the table, they had an outside shot of pulling down a # 2. The problem seems to be that they have been playing to the level of their competition, hence two bad games against Miami and a bad start in the last game against NC State.
the former best East teams (BC, VA Tech, Miami) have always given the Terps hell. I'll take a 5 in a heart beat.
